Some Actions

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Colossians 3:17
Our actions can be categorized into three main areas. Those categories are habits, environmental actions, and experimental actions. Habits are constant daily actions that shape your way of life. Environmental actions are actions that specifically create a healthier environment. Experimental actions are those taken solely to be learned from. We can break down our lives into these categories. When you look at your life, what actions fit where?

All your actions need to be put into perspective. You need to consider everything you do and whether it gets you closer to God. You should have constant daily actions that strengthen your connection with God and your walk in Him.
You need to adjust your environment to be more successful in Him actively. Finally, it would be best to reach out of your box and do things in Christ that you can learn from.
The thing is, these are your actions. That means you cannot look at anyone else or count on their actions to affect you. We too often forget to look in the mirror when it comes to the actions we take. Yet, all of them are our responsibility and are within our control. That’s the good news. Your actions are in your control. You can change your actions and change your life.
You are already acting in these areas. They just may not be geared the right way. They may be affecting you negatively, like drawing you away from God. They could keep you from growing in Him. Either way, you decide how faithful you want to be. Then act accordingly. Just make sure you choose wisely.
