As we step into 2024, our church community embarks on a journey of renewed faith and increased action. Look to do "M.O.R.E in 2024". A spiritual call to deepen our commitment to Christ and each other.
M - Magnify Our Lord: Our primary goal is to magnify our Lord in every aspect of our lives. Just as the Apostle Paul encouraged in Ephesians 3:20-21, let us give all glory to God, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Every act, whether small or large, should be an expression of our love and adoration to bring glory to God.
O - Open Our Hearts: In 2024, we strive to open our hearts more fully to those around us. In the spirit of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), we're called to love and serve not only those within our church walls but also our neighbors who are in need.
R - Renew Our Spirit: Spiritual renewal is central to our journey. As we're reminded in Romans 12:2, transforming our minds is key to understanding God's will. This year, we are dedicating more time to prayer, Bible study, allowing God's word to shape us and guide our actions.
E - Engage in Service: Finally, we are called to actively engage in service. James 2:17 teaches us that faith without works is dead. In 2024, our church has an abundance of opportunities to serve, both within our local area and in wider outreach efforts, embodying Christ's love through our actions.
As we embark on this journey of doing more, we invite you to reflect on these principles. Let us walk together in faith, with hearts and hands ready to serve, as we bring the light of Christ into every corner of our lives and our world.
